Ex Cellars Wine Agencies, Inc. is an importer specializing in the wines of France as well as select estates in Spain, Portugal, and the New World. In addition to our exclusive suppliers we offer an extensive range of open market Bordeaux Crus Classés. Our producers are highly regarded world-wide and offer high quality, appellation wines at competitive prices, providing exceptional quality and value throughout their ranges. We represent both small and large estates, which allows us to offer great, rare, and limited wines as well as moderately priced wines available without allocation year-round. In additional to current vintages, we offer an extensive list of library wines and vintage verticals specifically for fine restaurant lists.
We ship and store our inventory under temperature-control and always request that our wholesale clients do the same. Our wholesale customers can ship both ex cellars producer and from our California warehouse, and we currently service all 50 states in the USA, plus Puerto Rico.

Frederick Ek President, (Cambridge, MA)
Fred entered the trade in 1966 as an import agent. He co-founded Classic Wine Imports, Inc., in 1969, and helped guide that company in wholesale distribution until 1997. Concurrently with his Massachusetts wholesale company, he developed a national agency business, primarily for Guigal, with Classic Wine Imports acting as a US source for Guigal and other French wines, including Bordeaux Cru Classés. In 1996 Fred joined with Patrick Will, founding Ex Cellars Wine Agencies in order to further promote and manage national sales of the agency brands. |

Patrick Will Vice President, (Solvang,CA)
After completing his Masters in Musicology at Cornell University in 1982, Patrick lectured and taught Music and English there until 1986, when he entered the wine trade full time after moving to Boston. In 1987 he was named “Grand Wizard of California Wine” by a trade group seeking the most “California wine-knowledgeable” retail or restaurant employee in the US. He moved to Santa Barbara County, California, in 1987 to manage the sales at Firestone Vineyard, and became General Manager thereof in 1989. He served as President of the Board of Santa Barbara County Vintners’ Association from 1991 through 1994. In 1996 Patrick joined Frederick Ek to form Ex Cellars Wine Agencies, Inc.

Donna Will CFO (Solvang, CA)
A graduate of UC Davis in Food Science, Donna entered the wine field in 1986. Two years later she joined The Firestone Vineyard staff, and was the enologist for 8 years. There she met her husband Patrick, and in 1996 returned to college (UCSB) for the purpose of studying accounting. In 1998 Donna successfully passed the CPA exam, and joined with Patrick and Fred in the formation of Ex Cellars Wine Agencies. |
